A while back someone commented that my photography was like a teenage girl’s. I think that was an insult, but one of my favorite tumblr friends was a teenage girl when she started. Her photos are better than anything I’ll ever do.
Another guy told me I sucked. But then he later apologized saying he was “totally baked” when he wrote that.
I often receive the advice, “You should use the rule of thirds.” I’m pretty sure that is the only photography term these particular advice givers know. Especially the guy who called it the law of thirds.
I don’t have any ambitions of being a great photographer. I just want to learn as much as I can and take the best pictures possible. And even though this photo doesn’t use Newton’s 3rd law, I really like it.
